Contract Renewals
So often overlooked, especially in the IT world where so many are roll-over (often referred to as 'evergreen contracts). Need, risk, benefit - they are all (we would hope) thoroughly considered when setting up a new contract, however, being honest, how many IT and / or Procurement departments actually review contracts before renewing, or them automatically renewing? As a generalization (because we know there are some really on the ball organizations out there who do have the bandwidth to cope with reviewing before renewing), there are many savings to be made and risks to be reduced by running a decent contract renewal programme. Contracts are, shall we be generous and say infrequently as opposed to hardly ever, reviewed once they are signed and put in the safe. Demergers
When organizations split so must, as a rule, their contracts with suppliers. What to do with those, where does a contract sit, where is benefit and obligation, how does one ensure there are no increased costs to either side. All points that must be considered and managed. We are experienced in such programmes, coming in, usually, under budget and on time.
Exit Management
Often not considered until such time as an organization wishes to exit, be that from a system or a supplier. Every agreement for a strategic piece should contain an Exit Managment plan, which is something we can help with. Where there is no plan then we will often get involved in helping an organization move away in a controlled manner, reducing risk and cost where possible.
Greenfield Procurement
